Dr. Tram correctly identified the one plant from the wild she chose to develop, and began the time consuming process of learning how to domesticate, propagate, harvest and process these plants. Over time, through natural propagation, she learned how to maximize the beneficial properties in her plants. These unique plants, which are now registered and named Crinum latifolium L var. crilae Tram & Khanh, have been the subject of continuous research since 1990.
